Trip to Balaton

Dear Students!
Join us for a day trip to Central Europe’s largest lake, Balaton! We will spend a day at the beach of Balatonalmádi. Here you can swim, sunbathe, play sports like beach volleyball or soccer and you’ll also have the opportunity to try the so-called “water bikes”, which are famously associated with the “Hungarian Sea”! After these activities you can enjoy some traditional Hungarian snacks like lángos at the beach restaurant.
We’re meeting at 10:25 in the morning on July 18th at the Kelenföld Railway Station, from where we’ll take a train to Balatonalmádi. The train ticket is free if you have a country-pass (1100 HUF each way without the pass).
The beach entry costs 1500 HUF per person, so make sure to bring enough money with you.
If you want to save some money, we suggest you to bring your own lunch picnic style, but of course there are plenty restaurants at the beach.
